Your play of love and loss is ceaseless. I move on in rhythmic song and dance, in harmony with your cadence. Suddenly my steps miss a pace and i slip behind. O swift moving one, I try to gather momentum and move anew. I pass my days of mirth in the midst of radiant joy then, suddenly, darkness descends; I am overwhelmed and cry in pain. O lord, you come to wipe away my tears with love and make my life effulgent.
