Who is that unknown traveler,
Giving a shake, He went away;
who has oscillated?
Who is that Unknown Traveler?
coming suddenly from unknown arena,
In a trice He arrived from a site recondite;
smiling momentarily,
He sailed off, having smiled for but a moment.
he floated away.

i never tried to recognize him anytime;
To get acquainted, never did I make an effort;
there was no bondage of love.
There had not been any tie of affection.
his affairs my mind never thought.
Of Him, also mind at no time ever thought;
still he gave a momentary touch.
And yet for a short while touch He granted.
i understood that he is my most own,

own amidst the nearest,
I understood He is the closest of my kin,
collection of love.
The relative of soul, love's requisite ingredient.
forgetting Him, everything becomes load.
After forgetting Him, everything becomes a burden;
in the dark heart, the only gem shines.
Glowing in a gloomy heart is just that one gem.

Dola diye gelo is the 2400th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Dolá diye gelo
Ke se ajáná pathik
Elo cakite ajáná hate
Bhese gelo hese kśańik

Cinite ceśt́á kari ni kakhano
Priitir báṋdhan chilo ná kona
Táhár kathá kabhu bháve ni mano
Tabuo se choṋyá dilo khánik

Bujhilám se ámár ati ápanár
Átmár átmiiya priitisambhár
Táre bhule gele hay sab kichu bhár
Áṋdhár hrdaye jvale eki se máńik

Giving a shake, He went away;
Who is that Unknown Traveler?
In a trice He arrived from a site recondite;
He sailed off, having smiled for but a moment.

To get acquainted, never did I make an effort;
There had not been any tie of affection.
Of Him, also mind at no time ever thought;
And yet for a short while touch He granted.

I understood He is the closest of my kin,
The relative of soul, love's requisite ingredient.
After forgetting Him, everything becomes a burden;
Glowing in a gloomy heart is just that one gem.
