Manke ámár shubha pathe cálio
Hatáshágrasta hale kabhu
Áshár pradiip sumukhe dhario

Láj bhay ghrńá kabhu
Patha rodh kare kabhu
Vajra ághośe samvit ánio
Jaŕbhog vásanáte
Citta jadi máte
Prasupta mánavatá jágiye dio

Calibo tomár pathe
Jena ná jhuṋki vipathe
Pather dishárii tumi nije hayo

এই অনুরোধ প্রভু তব চরণে
মনকে আমার শুভ পথে চালিও
হতাশাগ্রস্ত হলে কভু
আশার প্রদীপ সুমুখে ধরিও

লাজ-ভয়-ঘৃণা কভু
পথ রোধ করে প্রভু
বজ্র আঘোষে সম্বিৎ আনিও
জড়ভোগ বাসনাতে
চিত্ত যদি মাতে
প্রসুপ্ত মানবতা জাগিয়ে দিও

চলিব তোমার পথে
যেন না ঝুঁকি বিপথে
পথের দিশারী তুমি নিজে হ’য়ো

O lord,
this much i request at your lotus feet,
that you guide my mind towards the auspicious path.
If ever i am surrounded by hopelessness,
then, please keep the lamp of hope in front of me.

If any time, fear, shyness, hatred, obstruct my path,
then, bring consciousness with the thundering voice.
If my mind gets intoxicated by crude, sensuous pleasures,
then, awaken the sleeping humanity in me.

I shall move on your path.
So that i do not get trapped into negativity,
You yourself, become my guide.
