Dolá diye kotháy lukiye gele
Sumanda samiire
Suvás bhare diye man mátále

Sabái tomáy pete cáy je áro
Cháŕite náhi cáy ek praharo
Maner májhe je mádhurii áche
Ásh mit́iye dite cáy je d́hele

Eso madhur bháve
Bhávátiita saráo sab abháve
Chande gáne laye nava sure
Práńocchváse eso nava tále

এলে আলোর বানে
দোলা দিয়ে কোথায় লুকিয়ে’ গেলে
সুমন্দ সমীরে
সুবাস ভরে’ দিয়ে মন মাতালে

সবাই তোমায় পেতে চায় যে আরো
ছাড়িতে নাহি চায় এক প্রহরও
মনের মাঝে যে মাধুরী আছে
আশ মিটিয়ে দিতে চায় সে ঢেলে’

এসো মধুর ভাবে
ভাবাতীত সারাও সব অ-ভাবে
ছন্দে গানে লয়ে নব সুরে
প্রাণোচ্ছ্বাসে এসো নব তালে

O lord,
You came into the forest of effulgence,
and made all swing.
And then,
where did you hide?

Into the gentle breeze,
You filled fragrance
and then,
You intoxicated my mind.

All long to attain you ever deeper.
None wishes to leave you
even for a small period of time.

The sweetness that fills the mind
wants to burst out and fulfill its aspirations.

Come in sweet ideation,
and remove all my wants.
O one beyond ideation!

With rhythm, song, melody, and new tunes...
