Esechi ek notun deshe is the 1254rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Esechi ek notun deshe
Notun rauṋe notun háoyáy
Notun pariveshe

Ákásh hetháy áro suniil
Maner sauṋge áro je mil
Pákhiir kújan vane vijan
Mátáy naváveshe

Phuler gandhe sabuj nesháy
Man sudúre chut́e je jáy
Háráno sur acin bháśáy
Nácáy je ulláse

I came to a new country,
with new colour,
into a new air and environment.

The sky there was more blue,
and mixed with my mental colour.
The chirping of birds in an isolated garden
intoxicated me with more impulse.

In the bliss of greenery and floral fragrance,
my mind rushed afar.

A lost melody
and an unknown language
made it dance in joy.
