Gán geye jái tomáke shonái
Shońo ki ná shońo tumi náhi jáni
Ámi ánande gái

E shudhu ekár kathá nayko kabhu
Mánav maner anubhúti prabhu
Sabár vyathá vedaná hiyár madhu racaná
Tomár vediite jánái

Ei anurodh mor kathá máno
Giiti bhávanáy bhay neiko kono
Shuniye trpti pái ár kichu náhi cái
Bháśá dile sur dile geye jái tái

গান গেয়ে যাই তোমাকে শোনাই
শোন কি না শোন তুমি নাহি জানি
আমি আনন্দে গাই

এ শুধু একার কথা নয়কো কভু
মানব মনের অনুভূতি প্রভু
সবার ব্যথা-বেদনা হিয়ার মধু রচনা
তোমার বেদীতে জানাই

এ অনুরোধ মোর কথা মানো
গীতি-ভাবনায় ভয় নেইকো কোনো
শুনিয়ে তৃপ্তি পাই আর কিছু নাহি চাই
ভাষা দিলে সুর দিলে গেয়ে যাই তাই

To You I speak, a song I go on singing;
I don't know if You hear or not,
But blissfully I sing.

At no time are these the words of merely one person;
It is the feeling of humanity's psyche, Lord.
Pain and grief of everybody, an array of heart's honey,
I proclaim at an altar to Thee.
