O lord,
The touch of song on life You give
give a touch to life,
With shelter green, shelter green.
like the soothing shade of greenery.
To halt for aught You don't acknowledge;
Song You go on singing, oh You go on singing.

Halting being unknown to you,
The day when not a thing had been,
You keep on singing songs.
You were there, and there was Your endeavor.
You were contest and contestant and desideratum;
That ancient song was there, and it was in concert.

Before creation,
The day when not a thing will live,
only you and your sa'dhana' existed.
You will keep abiding and also Your endeavor.

Inside of You will reside every phenomenon
You alone were desideratum,
With that never-ending song in its unknown residence.
practice and practitioner,
movement and mover.

Only the song of time immemorial remained,
as mutual relation of cause and effect.

On the day nothing will exist,
You will stay in ideation.

In your abode,
all expressions will remain,
immersed in your eternal song.

Ganer parash dao pranera pare is the 1405th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Gáner parash dáo práńera pare
Shyámala cháye shyámala cháye
Kona kichutei thámite jáno ná (tumi)
Gán jáo go geye gán jáo go geye

Je din kona kichui chilo ná
Chile tumi chilo ár tava sádhaná
Sádhak sádhya sádhaná chile tumi
Chilo anádikáler giit se anvaye

Je din kona kichu thákibe ná
Theke jábe tumi ár tava sádhaná
Sab abhiprakásh thákibe tomáte
Sáthe ananta giit se ajáná nilaye

The touch of song on life You give
With shelter green, shelter green.
To halt for aught You don't acknowledge;
Song You go on singing, oh You go on singing.

The day when not a thing had been,
You were there, and there was Your endeavor.
You were contest and contestant and desideratum;
That ancient song was there, and it was in concert.

The day when not a thing will live,
You will keep abiding and also Your endeavor.
Inside of You will reside every phenomenon
With that never-ending song in its unknown residence.
