Jadi katha nahi kay sara nahi dey is the 1585th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Jadi) Kathá náhi kay sáŕá náhi dey
Tabu ámi táre d́eke jábo
Carańa dharite náhi jadi dey
Padadhúli páne ceye rabo

Kata din jáy kata ná káṋdáye
Rát baye jáy ashru baháye
Tabu dami niko tabu thámi niko
Marmer kathá káńe dobo[nb 2]

Uttuṋga je bádhái ásuk
Durlauṋghya je giri thákuk
Carańágháte vajranipáte
Cúrńa kariyá jayii habo

O lord,
no matter whether you speak,
or do not respond,
still, i shall continue calling you.

If you do not allow me to hold your feet,
I shall look to the dust of those feet.

Let numerous days pass by,
let there be much crying,
let the nights pass by flowing tears,
still, i shall not fear,
still, i shall not stop
to whisper into your ears my inner feelings.

Let great obstructions come,
and even should difficultly surmountable and high mountains appear,
by crushing them with a forceful blow of my feet,
I shall be victorious.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In the Sargam and other early editions, this word is incorrectly given as tava. Hence the mistake in the audio rendition. However, that error is corrected in the latest Bengali edition,[1] and the corrected version is maintained here.
