Do not go, O Lord, do not go!
Don't leave, don't leave, my Lord
For You, day and night, I stay awake.
For You I stay awake at night.
Because You exist, the world exists.
You exist, so earth's denizens exist.
With You, all beings are in love.
All of us love You.

This light, this shade, this wind,
The light, the shadows, the wind,
this blue sky adorned with the spangles of stars
The spangles on blue, composing yonder sky—
are all dancing in Your melodious rhythm.
To Your notes and Your beat, all are dancing.
For, it is Your love that all are seeking.
For Your love and Your affection, everyone prays.
Don't forget me, don't forget me! O divine friend!
Don't neglect, don't neglect, my Lord
With a sweet smile You come near
Come close, smiling Your sweet smile.
and, with a sweet smile, You again depart.

This laughter, this song,
The laughter, the music, the luster,
this radiant light and the higher realms
The sweet conceptions filling the heaven—
are all mingled in Your ideation.
With Your name, they all get obsessed.
In Your name, all dance in joyous intoxication.
In Your company, inner heart is expressed.
To You, all express their innermost heart.
Don't discard, don't discard, my Lord
Do not tear, do not tear, O divine friend
My garland infused with devotion.
these flowers, vibrant with the touch of life.

Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Jeoná jeoná ogo bandhu
Tomá lági jege áchi divánishi
Tumi ácho tái áche jagatavásii
Tomáke sakale morá bhálobási

Ei álo ei cháyá ei je vátás
Niilete cumki gánthá oi je ákásh
Tava sure tava tále sabái náce
Tava rág anurág sabái jáce
Bhuloná bhuloná ogo bandhu
Káche ese hese jáo madhura hási

Ei hási ei gán ei je álok
Bháver mádhurii bhará ei je dyulok
Tava náme erá sabe chande máte
Maner kathát́i kay tomári sáthe
Chinŕo ná chinŕo ná ogo bandhu
Práńer parash páoyá puśpa ráshi

Don't leave, don't leave, my Lord
For You I stay awake at night.
You exist, so earth's denizens exist.
All of us love You.

The light, the shadows, the wind,
The spangles on blue, composing yonder sky—
To Your notes and Your beat, all are dancing.
For Your love and Your affection, everyone prays.
Don't neglect, don't neglect, my Lord
Come close, smiling Your sweet smile.

The laughter, the music, the luster,
The sweet conceptions filling the heaven—
With Your name, they all get obsessed.
In Your company, inner heart is expressed.
Don't discard, don't discard, my Lord
My garland infused with devotion.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[3]

O Paramapurus'a, do not desert me. I am spending sleepless nights for You. The universe exists because You are there. Because of Your presence the universe is created. So the existence of the universe is dependent on Your existence. All natural beauties are dancing, all are getting inspiration from You. All long for Your love and affection. O Lord, come close and smile Your sweet and charming smile. My garland represents my love and intimacy. Let the flowers of my garland remain forever.
