The fountain rumblingly dances on,
The waterfall skips rapidly,
and, drawing a silver line,
Having painted a silver streak
it flows through the mountains into the forest.
Across the hills and into forest.

It does not heed to whatsoever obstruction.
It does not become bound by whatsoever bondage.

It rushes up and down with pleasing imagination.
It rushes through the trees.

Carrying the impulse of the open and matted hair
To no proscription does it pay heed;
of dhu'rjat'i (lord shiva) 's head,
By the roadblocks it is never stymied.
it flows on.
With cheerful notion does it speed
From the heights to below the trees.

All along each path,
[[Shiva|Lord Shiva's]] matted hair set free
saturated with tears of love,
With a great impetus for descending,
it seeks liberation.
All along the way, blithe and lively,
It craves liberation in love's tears.

Jharna tartariye nace is the 1332ndsup> song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jharńá tartariye náce
Rajata rekháy ráuṋiye diye
Páháŕa beye vaner májhe

Kona mánái máne ná se
Báṋdhanete báṋdhá nay se
Khushii kheyále chut́e cale
Opara theke drumei niice

Dhúrjat́iri mukta jat́ár
Áveg niye niice jábár
Pathe pathe práńocchale
Priitir jale mukti jáce

The waterfall skips rapidly,
Having painted a silver streak
Across the hills and into forest.

To no proscription does it pay heed;
By the roadblocks it is never stymied.
With cheerful notion does it speed
From the heights to below the trees.

Lord Shiva's matted hair set free
With a great impetus for descending,
All along the way, blithe and lively,
It craves liberation in love's tears.
