Jiivaner madakatay is the 1436th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jiivaner mádakatáy
Tomárei peyechi priya
Diinatáy ásháhiinatáy
Tomárei bhávite dio

Prabháter aruna ráge
Peyechi navánuráge
Cheŕe jáoyár viráge
Theko paráge paráge
Jhaiṋjháy ashrudháráy
Tamasáy man ráuṋio

Páoyári sukhete theko
Hárávár duhkhete theko
Báṋcár ánande rekho
Marańeo madhu mákhio

O lord,
I attained you in an intoxicating stage of my life.
Now, allow me to think of you
even in a miserable and hopeless state.

In the crimson light of the morning,
I found you in a new and attractive loving colour.
Now, i witness you as pangs of separation in each pollen.
Colour my mind
when i find myself
in darkness, storms or the flow of tears.

Stay with me
both in the joy of achievement
and in the pain of loss.

Provide the happiness of survival
and absorb me in nectar even at the time of my death.
