Who is making my mind restless?
For what Person is my mind unsettled?
Who is overwhelming my heart?
For what Reason did my heart surge?
I don't see Him, don't recognize Him;
Oh, Who is He, unknown and inscrutable?

Neither have i seen nor recognised him.
In a cavern of the mind He lies hidden;
Who is that unknown divine friend?
Hence He's privy to all psychic information.
His acquaintance covered by life's pollen,
He gets smeared with all the powder's sweetness.
Unknown to me, He's the one that I've loved;
By dint of churning, my nectar He carried off.

He remains hidden, seated in the depths of my mind,
With His torch of wisdom ousting gloom,
where he keeps all knowledge stored.
To me did He reveal the Truth.
He maintains his disguise, covered with the pollen of life
Lost in light was blind attachment's inkstream,
and spreads upon himself all its sweetness.
And so the flow of intuition has increased.

All ask-and-get, all give-and-take,
The one whom i have unknowingly loved,
Blended and become one are they.
has churned away all my nectar.
With the lamp of intuition,
He has removed darkness,
and shown me truth.

The dark flow of blind attachment
has lost itself in effulgent light.
The flow of intuition spreads forth.

All desires and attainments,
all giving and taking,
merged and became one.

Kahara lagiya ucatana mana is the 543rd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Káhára lágiyá ucát́ana mana
Udvela halo kena hiyá
Dekhi ni jáháre cini ná jáháre
Ke se go ajáná maramiyá

Manera gahane lúkáye base se je
Manera khabar sab rákhe
Práńera paráge paricaya d́heke
Parágera madhu sab mákhe
Ná jániyá bhálobesechi jáháre
Se nilo mor sudhá mathiyá

Prajiṋá diip niye áṋdhar sariye
Satyake dilo dekháye
Mohera masiidhárá jyotite halo hárá
Bodhidhárá gelo chaŕáye
Sab cáoyá páoyá sab neoyá deoyá
Ek haye gelo mishiyá

For what Person is my mind unsettled?
For what Reason did my heart surge?
I don't see Him, don't recognize Him;
Oh, Who is He, unknown and inscrutable?

In a cavern of the mind He lies hidden;
Hence He's privy to all psychic information.
His acquaintance covered by life's pollen,
He gets smeared with all the powder's sweetness.
Unknown to me, He's the one that I've loved;
By dint of churning, my nectar He carried off.

With His torch of wisdom ousting gloom,
To me did He reveal the Truth.
Lost in light was blind attachment's inkstream,
And so the flow of intuition has increased.
All ask-and-get, all give-and-take,
Blended and become one are they.
