Buddhir áloke dekhe tháki cokhe
Bhávi ná buddhi tava dayáy

Esechile kon anádi hate
Bhese cale jáo ananta srote
Ádi o anta nabhodiganta
Mor dhárańáy kothá háráy

কমলনিকরে সন্ধ্যাসায়রে
কাহার সুরভি বহিয়া যায়
কাছে থেকে' ভাবি দূরে চলে' গেছে
দূরে গেলে আঁখি দেখা না পায়
