Mor kathá jena bhulo ná

Budbud ámi tomár ságare
Kata ná úrmi sadá ese paŕe

কতকাল আর কতকাল প্রিয়
পথ চেয়ে বসে’ থাকিব
তুমি বল না
উদয়অস্ত কর্মব্যস্ত
থেকেও মোরে জানাও না

অনন্তকাল তোমার পরিধি
ভূলোকে দ্যুলোকে আকাশ উদধি
সীমিত কালের আমি প্রতিনিধি
মোর কথা যেন ভুলো না

বুদ্বুদ আমি তোমার সাগরে
কত না ঊর্মি সদা এসে’ পড়ে
এই আছি আমি এই নেই
মোর সাথে লীলা কোরো না

O dear, for how much more time,
i shall sit looking for your path,
tell me.
you remain ever busy
from morning to evening
without showing yourself to me.
your perimeter is of unlimited time
including earth, heaven, sky and oceans.
i am representative of limited time,
hence do not forget me.
i am a drop in your ocean,
in which innumerable waves ever appear.
sometimes i exist and sometimes not,
do not play such illusive game with me.
