"The new dawn will come".
"The new dawn will come".
Beyond the curtain of darkest mist
Beyond the curtain of darkest mist
a new golden light will laugh.
A new golden light will laugh.

No more agony and lamentation!
No more agony and lamentation!
No more tears flowing from the eyes!
No more tears flowing from the eyes!
From beyond the scope of all pain
From beyond the scope of all pain
the freshness of life will float anew.
The freshness of life will float anew.

The realm of affection and compassion,
The realm of affection and compassion,
of hope and love and sweetest dreams
Of hope and love and sweetest dreams
will enter the inner core of all minds
Will enter the inner core of all minds
and remove even the blackest shadows of darkness.
And remove even the blackest shadows of darkness.

Ke jeno asiya kaye geche kane is the eighteenth song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2] It is also known as the song of egalitarianism.[3]

Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Ke jena ásiyá kaye geche káne
Nútan prabhát ásibe
Kálo kuyáshár javaniká páre
Sonálii jiivan hásibe

Thákibe ná ár vyáthá háhákár
Bahibe ná ár shudhu ánkhidhár
Sab vedanár urdhva lokete
Práńer parág bhásibe

Sneha mamatár ei je bhuvan
Áshá bhálobásá madhur svapan
Sakal maner marme pashiyá
Sab kálo cháyá náshibe

Someone has come and whispered into my ears,
"The new dawn will come".
Beyond the curtain of darkest mist
A new golden light will laugh.

No more agony and lamentation!
No more tears flowing from the eyes!
From beyond the scope of all pain
The freshness of life will float anew.

The realm of affection and compassion,
Of hope and love and sweetest dreams
Will enter the inner core of all minds
And remove even the blackest shadows of darkness.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song.[3]

All black shadows of pains and troubles will be dispelled by human love and human touch. Someone whispered in my ear that a new dawn will come. The golden light will laugh, crushing the Cimmerian darkness. There will be no more pain and sorrow, and no more tears. Affection, compassion, love and hope will enter the inner core of all minds. All black shadows of pains and troubles will be dispelled by human love and human touch.
