Kena asamaye ele emana bhave is the 1498th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kena asamaye ele emana bháve
Kichu jánále ná kichu balile ná
Ghar sájiye ásan bicháte
Taerii hate samay dile ná

Juge juge basechilum je áshe
Keṋdechilum kata ruddha shváse
Tumi ele to ele ná jánále
Ásh púrilo ná ásh mit́ilo ná

Mor doś nái jánite párini
Arghya diini samay páini
Tumi bár bár bhul karo emani dhárá
Bhul shudhariyo ese kare karuńá

O lord,
why did you come in such untimely manner,
without announcement or notice?

You did not give me time
to decorate my house
or spread the seat for you.
You did not give me a chance to get ready for you.

I had been waiting ages after ages.
With this hope,
I cried many times with choking breath.

When you came,
You did so without announcing it.

I did not know my fault,
and did not have time to offer you something.

To rectify the mistakes you had committed again and again,
You compassionately came this time.
