I was like a churned creeper, flooded with pain, affected by drowsiness. There was no one to see me, to pull me close with sweet effulgence. I had neither purpose nor endeavour. You were single, o incomparable one! This dark night has now moved away far, but i have not forgotten the events of that day. Each moment, through the gaps of memories, they return to my mind.
