কোথা’ থেকে এলে
কেনই বা চলে’ গেলে
বলো মোরে
কিছুই জানি না আমি
সব কিছু জান তুমি
সংসারে

মোর দিন আসে যায়
কারও পানে নাহি চায়
কভু হাসায় কভু কাঁদায়
অঝোরে

একা তুমি কালাতীত
দুঃখ-সুখের অতীত
তাইতো চরণে তব
প্রণতি ঝরে’ পড়ে

O lord, from where did you come
and why did you go away, tell me.
i do not know anything;
You know the entire universe.
my days come and go.
they do not want any one
and make me laugh and cry profusely.
you alone are beyond time,
pain and pleasure.
That is why at your feet,
salutations and reverence pour in.
