Mandánile tumi ele (áji)
Mana kandare ráge rúpe sure
E kii múrchaná d́hele dile

Chinu ámi jár patha cáhiyá
Se pathik elo hiyá upaciyá
Jugántarer tamasá náshiyá
Kśudra hrdaye ráuṋáile

Patha cáoyá mor sárthak halo
Áṋkhir ákuti bháve bhese gelo
Bhávátiita bháve rúpe dhará dilo
Ánanda udadhi uthale

মধুর ছন্দে মোহনানন্দে
মন্দানিলে তুমি এলে (আজি)
মন-কন্দরে রাগে রূপে সুরে
এ কী মূর্ছনা ঢেলে' দিলে

ছিনু আমি যার পথ চাহিয়া
সে পথিক এল হিয়া উপচিয়া
যুগান্তরের তমসা নাশিয়া
ক্ষুদ্র হৃদয়ে রাঙাইলে

পথ চাওয়া মোর সার্থক হ'ল
আঁখির আকুতি ভাবে ভেসে' গেল
ভাবাতীত ভাবে রূপে ধরা দিল
আনন্দ-উদধি উথলে

O lord, you came today with sweet rhythm and charming bliss,
with soft breeze. in the cave of mind, with tune, melody and beauty,
what an enchantment have you poured. the one for whom i have
been waiting, that traveler came overwhelming the heart.
Destroying the darkness accumulated through ages,
you coloured the small heart. my waiting has been fruitful.
The earnestness of the eyes, floated into the ideation.
The ideation beyond thought, came into fold with
form overflowing the ocean of bliss.
