That honeybee had come
In mental depths at lotus bower,
into the lotus grove
That same bee,{{#tag:ref|An alternate meaning of ''madhukar'', perhaps more figurative, is "lover".|group="nb"}} he had arrived.
within the depth of the mind.
Humming as if he poured affection,
while humming as if it has pored love
Surging was the pond of mind.
overwhelmingly into the mental pond.

it is hard to recognize that bee,
Classing this bee does not succeed...
from where it had come
From whence he came, to where he leaves,
and to which place it is going.
Having instilled devotion through rhythm and melody,
it shines in diverse colours,
With many colors bright.
filled with affection,

in rhythms and melody.
Finding a likeness to the bee does not succeed...
no comparison of that bee is found,
He wakens inclination with unspoken speech.
it awakens rhythm
Song gets sung in a throat unaccompanied,
in unexpressed language.
Those notes transcending time.
that melody which is beyond time
goes on singing song in each throat.

Maner gahane saroruha vane is the 2352nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Maner gahane saroruha vane
Esechilo sei madhukar
Guiṋjari jena priiti d́hele dilo
Uthaliyá man sarovar

E madhukare cená náhi jáy
Kothá hate áse kothá cale jáy
Chande o sure anurág bhare
Rauṋe rauṋe bhásvar

Madhukare upamá ná páoyá jáy
Ná balá bháśay chanda jágáy
Ekak kańt́he gán geye jáy
Kálátiita sei svar

In mental depths at lotus bower,
That same bee,[nb 2] he had arrived.
Humming as if he poured affection,
Surging was the pond of mind.

Classing this bee does not succeed...
From whence he came, to where he leaves,
Having instilled devotion through rhythm and melody,
With many colors bright.

Finding a likeness to the bee does not succeed...
He wakens inclination with unspoken speech.
Song gets sung in a throat unaccompanied,
Those notes transcending time.
