- ^ In the audio file, we hear the word Ele at this point. That is also repeated in at least one Roman script source. However, in the original Sargam as well as the latest Bengali edition,[1] we find Eso. This word is critical, because it determines the entire spirit of the song. Looking deeper, the word Ele is not justified, as it seems to have been used as a consequence of a typo (Ese instead of Eso in the musical instructions given below the lyrics in the Sargam edition). Hence the error seems to be derived from the singer's wrong assumption. Here, Eso is retained.
