Matir pradiip jvaliye rakhi is the 2513th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mát́ir pradiip jváliye rákhi
Mát́ir e kut́ire
Smita mukhe cái tomáke
Dekhbo nayan bhare

Kona sampad nái je ámár
Já áche sabi je tomár
Tomár jinis tomáy dobo
Priitir áṋkhiniire

Thákbe tumi maner gopál
Hrd-kamale bhule kálákál
Chande sure báṋshii pure
Nácbe áshá ghire

O lord, i have kept the earthen lamp
glowing in the hut of mud.
i want to see you with smiling face,
so that i may watch you
to the content of my heart.
i have no wealth of mine,
whatever is present, is yours.
i shall offer your article to you
with tears of love.
O the gopa’l (cowherd) of my mind,
you will stay on lotus of my heart,
forever, ignoring good and bad time.
with the rhythm and melody of flute,
i shall go on dancing
surrounding the hope.
