Looking at face, attention grabbing,
i think of that event of the day again and again.

it fills melody in the mind, pouring softness.
About that day I ponder frequently;

Upon tears that memory sails to me...
from morning to evening
On the musing, tune it keeps infusing;
with sweetness of nectar.
It pours out a pleasant softness.
Breaking entire net of infatuation,  
 
removing all pains, fulfilled me.

Making replete, rending web of illusion,
Dispelling every affliction.

Chilo ná kona váratá
Mukha páne ceye man keŕe
Niye áṋkhite kahile kathá

Se diner kathá bhávi báre báre
Se smrti bhásáy more áṋkhiniire
Mananete sur diye jáy bhare
D́hele dey pelavatá

Se smrti thákiyá jábe cirakál
Sudhámádhurje sandhyá sakál
Bhare diye chiṋŕe jata mohajál
Saráye sakala vyathá

নীরবে এলে নীরবে গেলে
ছিল না কোন বারতা
মুখ পানে চেয়ে মন কেড়ে
নিয়ে আঁখিতে কহিলে কথা

সে দিনের কথা ভাবি বারে বারে
সে স্মৃতি ভাসায় মোরে আঁখিনীরে
মননেতে সুর দিয়ে যায় ভরে'
ঢেলে' দেয় পেলবতা

সে স্মৃতি থাকিয়া যাবে চিরকাল
সুধামাধুর্যে সন্ধ্যা-সকাল
ভরে' দিয়ে ছিঁড়ে' যত মোহজাল
সরায়ে সকল ব্যথা
