O lord,
You went away, having placed me in a lonesome forest,
with what support did you leave me
With whose support, please say, with whose assistance?
in this lonely forest?
Sitting by myself and weeping, the time, it elapses;
Please tell me.
My heart collapses from the throes of anguish.

Sitting alone,
With the flowers their intrinsic honey abides;
I am crying
But, dear Friend, You carried off all nectar mine
and passing time,
To some far-far distant paradise.
my heart sinks with pain.

The flowers contain their own vital honey within,
In the mind just one topic rises: my heartache unspoken;
but, o companion, you took away all my honey
With that pain is mixed an ardent eagerness...
to some distant heavenly world.
Even by mistake, it never gets forgotten.

In my mind only one matter appears:
the silent pain of my heart,
mingled with restlessness.
It cannot be forgotten even if attempted.

Nirjana kanane amare rekhe gele is the 1039th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Nirjana kánane ámáre rekhe gele
Kár bharasáy balo kár bharasáy
Eklá base base káṋdiyá kál je kát́e
Vyatháy hrday múracháy

Phuler sauṋge tháke táhár práńer madhu
Ámár sakal madhu niye gele ogo baṋdhu
Kon sudúre alakáy

Mane jáge eki kathá ná balá hiyár vyathá
Je vyatháy mishe áche práń bhará vyákulatá
Bhuliyá já náhi bholá jáy

You went away, having placed me in a lonesome forest,
With whose support, please say, with whose assistance?
Sitting by myself and weeping, the time, it elapses;
My heart collapses from the throes of anguish.

With the flowers their intrinsic honey abides;
But, dear Friend, You carried off all nectar mine
To some far-far distant paradise.

In the mind just one topic rises: my heartache unspoken;
With that pain is mixed an ardent eagerness...
Even by mistake, it never gets forgotten.
