Jyotsná ráte ámi cakor

Eso káche áro káche

ওগো রাজার রাজা
এসো মোর ঘরে
তুমি আমার আশার আলো
বেঁচে’ আছি তোমার তরে

আমি তোমার দীপের কোল-আঁধার গো
তোমার পথের ধূলি
তব সাগরের একটি বিন্দু
আছি নিজেরে ভুলি’

জ্যোৎস্না রাতে আমি চকোর

O king of kings,

You are the light of my hopes;
I survive due to you only.

I am the soot of your lamp,
the dust on your path.

A single drop in your ocean,
I have forgotten myself.
I am your atom and molecule,
revolving around you.

I am a cakor bird,
engrossed in your ideation
in the moonlit night.
