Áshár áloke bhará
Valgávihiin chilo je man
Áj se atmahárá

Kśudra ańur jhalkáni ámi
Áshá nirásháy duli divájámii
More bhálabese krpá nirjáse
Dile nava práńadhárá

Áshár atirikta je dile
Tuccha ámi-te amrta mákhále
Priitir dyutite bhará pratiitite
Bharile andhakárá

পথ বেঁধে’ দিল এ কী ভালবাসা
আশার আলোকে ভরা
বল্গাবিহীন ছিল যে মন
আজ সে আত্মহারা

ক্ষুদ্র অণুর ঝলকানি আমি
আশা-নিরাশার দুলি দিবাযামী
মোরে ভালবেসে’ কৃপা নির্যাসে
দিলে নব প্রাণধারা

আশার অতিরিক্ত যে দিলে
তুচ্ছ 'আমি'-তে অমৃত মাখালে
প্রীতির দ্যুতিতে ভরা প্রতীতিতে
ভরিলে অন্ধকারা

O lord, what a love is this
that you have fixed a path
full of the light of hope.
the mind that was bridle less
has lost itself today.
i am just a faint light
of a meager molecule,
moving day and night
swinging between hope and despair.
due to love and essence of grace,
You provided me a new vitality.
you gave me more than expectations.
you absorbed nectar
into the meager “i” of mine.
with realization,
full of effulgence of love,
you filled the dark prison.

Currently, only the following audio file is available. However, contrary to all of the Bengali source, the third word of the first line (dilo) is incorrectly sung as dile. The difference in meaning is significant. Hence, another audio rendition is required.
