Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Path calite áṋdhára ráte
Tumii prabhu mor dhruvatárá
Ámi dekhi tomáre
Jakhan jebháve tháki
Sukher ságare vá áṋkhira niire

Shánti balite je jáhá kichu bojhe
Tomár májhe se tár sabt́uku khoṋje
Tumi shánti párávár ácho amrte bhare

Duhkha sukher vimishrań ei dhará
Eder konat́i nayko svayambhará
Áse ár cale jáy ajánáy háy háy
Bháver atiita tiire

O lord, while moving on the path in dark night,
you are my polestar and I see you,
whenever with whatever ideation i remain,
whether in the ocean of joy or tears in eyes.
Whatever people understand
by the word peace or tranquility,
they all search that
within You everything.
you are the ocean of peace filled with nectar.
this world is a mixture of pain and pleasure.
here no body is perfect or selfsufficient.
all come and go to unknown,
alas, beyond the shore of thoughts.
