The spring season came into my mind unknowingly,
Springtime entered mind without warning,
and decorated my mental garden with flowers.
With blooms the mind's garden decorating...
it drew a beautiful sketch
Mid a parched and withered psyche,
in the dry torn mind of mine.
Having sketched a portrait juicy.
the branches on which there was no flowers,

no leaves or buds,
On the branch, there had been no flower;
over that you brought green leaves,
There had been no leaf or bud either.
and filled with floral beauty.
To it having brought green leaves,
the mind in which there was no honey,
You infused a floral beauty.
the sky in which there was no moon,

under that situation,
There had been no honey in the cogitation;
the ever companion, bringing them
There had been no moon on the firmament.
came down forgetting the path.
But hey, that same everlasting Lover,
Having strayed, with those too You appeared.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Phágun elo mane ná jániye
Manavane phul sájiye
Shuśka vishiirńa manomájhe
Saras chavi eṋke diye

Je shákháy chilo ná kona phul
Chilo ná pátá chilo ná mukul
Táháte sabuj pátá ene diye
Phuler shobhá dile bhariye

Je manane chilo ná kona madhu
Je ákáshe chilo ná vidhu
Cirakáler sei je baṋdhu
Tákeo niye ele path bhuliye

Springtime entered mind without warning,
With blooms the mind's garden decorating...
Mid a parched and withered psyche,
Having sketched a portrait juicy.

On the branch, there had been no flower;
There had been no leaf or bud either.
To it having brought green leaves,
You infused a floral beauty.

There had been no honey in the cogitation;
There had been no moon on the firmament.
But hey, that same everlasting Lover,
Having strayed, with those too You appeared.
