Manavane phul sájiye
Shuśka vishiirńa manomájhe
Saras chavi eṋke diye

Je shákháy chilo ná kona phul
Chilo ná pátá chilo ná mukul
Táháte sabuj pátá ene diye
Phuler shobhá dile bhariye

Je manane chilo ná kona madhu
Je ákáshe chilo ná vidhu
Cirakáler sei je baṋdhu
Tákeo niye ele path bhuliye

ফাগুন এল মনে না জানিয়ে
মনবনে ফুল সাজিয়ে
শুষ্ক বিশীর্ণ মনোমাঝে
সরস ছবি এঁকে’ দিয়ে

যে শাখায় ছিল না কোন ফুল
ছিল না পাতা ছিল না মুকুল
তাহাতে সবুজ পাতা এনে দিয়ে
ফুলের শোভা দিলে ভরিয়ে

যে মননে ছিল না কোন মধু
যে আকাশে ছিল না বিধু
চিরকালের সেই যে বঁধু
তাকেও নিয়ে এলে পথ ভুলিয়ে

The spring season came into my mind unknowingly,
and decorated my mental garden with flowers.
it drew a beautiful sketch
in the dry torn mind of mine.
the branches on which there was no flowers,
no leaves or buds,
over that you brought green leaves,
and filled with floral beauty.
the mind in which there was no honey,
the sky in which there was no moon,
under that situation,
the ever companion, bringing them
came down forgetting the path.
