Phulerá pápŕi mele
Káhár páne cáy
Madhute bukt́i bhare
Cupt́i kare dole malay váy

Mele dút́i d́ágar áṋkhi
Niiláiṋjana máyá mákhi
Apsarárá iipsá bhare
Kon sudúre sure bhese jáy

Man pavane náo bhásiye
Kon asiimer d́ák shuńiye
Cáṋder kirań tárár hási
Priitir báṋshii eki sure gáy

ফুলেরা পাপড়ি মেলে
কাহার পানে চায়
মধুতে বুকটি ভরে
চুপটি করে দোলে মলয় বায়

মেলে দুটি ডাগর আঁখি
নীলাঙ্গন মায়া মাখি
অপ্সরারা ঈপ্সা ভরে
কোন সুদূরে সুরে ভেসে যায়

মন-পবনে নাও ভাসিয়ে
কোন্‌ অসীমের ডাক শুণিয়ে
চাঁদের কিরণ তারার হাসি
প্রীতির বাঁশী একই সুরে গায়

Who do flowers look at,
when opening their petals?

Filling honey into their heart,
they silently swing with the sandal breeze.

Opening wide both eyes,
filled with illusive collyrium mark,
and so full of heavenly desire,
to which fardistant place
do they desire to drift off?

You float me into mental winds,
and make me listen to the call of infinity.

The rays of the moon,
the smile of stars,
that loving flute,
all sing along in unison.
