- ^ The Bengali word, ananta, literally means "infinity"; but it is also a name of Viśńu. So, an alternative but equally valid interpretation of this line would describe the singer as a traveler on the path of devotion. This interpretation is bolstered by the fact that the song is sung to the Lord as "Prabhu", a title often used to address Viśńu or Krśńa.
