Ke ná jáne ke ná jáne
Sab giitite tán enecho
Ke ná máne ke ná máne

Kichu náhi chilo jabe srśt́ir ei bhave
Andhatamasá chilo ná thákári utsave
Spandan ene dile ajati se nishákále
Álo jharańár svapane

Sadasat shubháshubha kusumera saorabha
Dharára dhúsara dhúli vihagera kákali
Kichu ná thákár májhe thákár pratham káje
Neve ele tumi manane

Shravańe manane nididhyásane
Kál rátrir avasáne

সব প্রীতিতে প্রাণ ভরেছো
কে না জানে কে না জানে
সব গীতিতে তান এনেছো
কে না মানে কে না মানে

কিছু নাহি ছিলো যবে সৃষ্টির এই ভাবে
অন্ধতমসা ছিলো না-থাকারি উৎসবে
স্পন্দন এনে দিলে অযতি সে নিশাকালে
আলো-ঝরণার স্বপনে

সদসৎ শুভাশুভ কুসুমের সৌরভ
ধরার ধূসর ধূলি বিহগের কাকলি
কিছু-না-থাকার মাঝে থাকার প্রথম কাজে
নেবে এলে তুমি মননে

শ্রবণে মননে নিদিধ্যাসনে
কাল রাত্রির অবসানে

O Lord,
who does not know
that you filled force into all types of love?

You filled tunes into songs,
accepted by all.

When there was nothing
in this created world,
only cimmerian darkness existed
amidst nonstop festivity.

You brought about vibrations
into the lingering night,
as fountains in dream.

In good and bad,
in auspicious and inauspicious,
in the fragrance of flowers,
and in the dirty dust of the earth,
in the chirping of birds,
in emptiness,
You enter my mind,
as first thing in my existence.

You entered
into my hearing, thinking and meditation.
