O lord, i have brought the garland of choice
A selected garland I have brought,
to put around your neck.
Because, Lord, I will make You wear it.
From the mental garden i have picked up flowers,
From the mental realm blooms have I culled;
and threaded them with the twine of love in seclusion.
On string of love in solitude I've threaded.
The sandal paste of the core i have smeared in that,

pouring entire sweetness of the heart.
On that I've smeared the [[:wikipedia:Sandalwood|sandal]] of heart-core;
becoming restless, i am sitting at the door,
Lavishly I've conferred all the nectar of my bosom.
for listening to footstep each moment.
Effusive become, I've been waiting at the door
Do not disappoint me, look with merciful eyes.
To hear a footfall every single minute.
in the distressed life, rise new tides.

Wipe all good and bad from my mind,
Do not frustrate me, look with eyes of kindness;
i have come to the excellent shelter.
Awaken a fresh flood-tide in a life afflicted.
From my mind expunge what is good or wicked;
I have come away from the peerless shelter.

Sadher malakhani enechi is the 2975th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Sádher málákháni enechi
Prabhu tomáy parábo bale
Manobhúmi hate phul cayan karechi
Priitid́ore gáṋthiyáchi virale

Marmer candan táháte mákhiyechi
Buker sakal madhu d́háliyá diyáchi
Udvel haye dváre basiyá rayechi
Padadhvani shunite pratipale

Nirásh karo ná more karuńá nayane cáo
Vyathita práńe nava joyár jágiye dáo
Manda bhálo mor man theke mocháo
Atul sharańe esechi cale

A selected garland I have brought,
Because, Lord, I will make You wear it.
From the mental realm blooms have I culled;
On string of love in solitude I've threaded.

On that I've smeared the sandal of heart-core;
Lavishly I've conferred all the nectar of my bosom.
Effusive become, I've been waiting at the door
To hear a footfall every single minute.

Do not frustrate me, look with eyes of kindness;
Awaken a fresh flood-tide in a life afflicted.
From my mind expunge what is good or wicked;
I have come away from the peerless shelter.
