Esecho káro ghare
Bárek kśańatare
Cale tháko niyame shástravidhi krame
Tái bheve mane keṋdechi akátare

Saiṋcaye mor neiko puńya
Bháńd́áre shudhu rayeche shúnya
Karini káj tava hayni anubhava
Jaŕera bandhane chilum moha ghore

Neiko ámár darshaner jiṋán
Karini kakhano shástra avadhán
Tomáy bhálabási jáci tomári hási
Cái ná krpáráshi kańái dáo more

শুনিনি আমি প্রভু পথ ভুলে' কভু
এসেছ কারো ঘরে
বারেক ক্ষণতরে
চলে থাক নিয়মে শাস্ত্রবিধি ক্রমে
তাই ভেবে মনে কেঁদেছি অকাতরে

সঞ্চয়ে মোর নেইকো পুণ্য
ভাণ্ডারে শুধু রয়েছ শূন্য
করিনি কাজ তব হয়নি অনুভব
জড়ের বন্ধনে ছিলুম মোহ ঘোরে

নেইকো আমার দর্শনের জ্ঞান
করিনি কখনো শাস্ত্র অবধান
তোমায় ভালবাসি যাচি তোমারই হাসি
চাই না কৃপারাশি কণাই দাও মোরে

Lord, I did not hear that ever, forgetting path,
You have come to someone's dwelling
Only once momentarily.
Customarily, You proceed in routine series;
Thinking thus, mentally I've wept profusely.

My virtues, they are not accrued;
In store-room has remained a vacuum.
There was no awareness, Your work I did not do;
Tied to matter had I been, in blind-attachment deeps.

I have not philosophy's wisdom;
To scripture never did I pay attention.
Yourself I adore, just for Your smile I pray;
I don't want heaps of grace, a tiny grain please grant me.
