Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ságarbeláy madhumekhaláy
Dolále doláy priiti bhare
Tomáy ámáy se malaya váy
Baháye diyecho giiti sure

Shuklá se sharvarii niśikta
Chilo jyotsnár jyotikańá
Maner gahane nibhrta bharańe
Chilo madhuper ánágoná
Tumi ár ámi kśańek ná thámi
Bhesechi acin surapure

Abádh prakáshe nirbádh ákáshe
Se madhur smrti mane práńe bháse
Ámi áchi ájo tumi sadá rájo
Phot́e priiti phula thare thare

The sandal breeze swings seabank, in series of sweet oscillations
full of love including you and me. the night was illuminated,
drenched with the rays of moonlight. in the depth of mind,
filled with isolation, only to and fro movement of bees was there.
You and me, without pausing for a moment, go on floating towards
unknown heaven. with unobstructed light, in clear sky, that sweet
memory floats into my mind and heart. i am still there though you
are ever present, the flower of love blooms layer by layer.
