Inert humanity has awakened today.
Dormant humanity has awakened, oh, it awakened;
Expression has come to its dumb mouth.
In consequence, speech blossomed on mute lips.
Beacons of light enliven it
The beacon of light came in touch with life;
and cast away dark staticity.
The dark night of inertia passed, oh, it passed.

No looking back.
No looking back.

Stabdha manavata jagalo go jagalo is the 366th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Stabdha mánavatá jágalo go jágalo
Múk mukhe tái bháśá phút́alo
Áloker hátcháni práńe ese lágalo
Jaŕatár amánishá kát́alo go kát́alo

(Áj) Sabe mile áloker path dhare calo jái
Pichane tákávár avakásh nái nái

Púrvákáshe nava ráuṋá ravi jágalo
Áloker jhalakáni phúleder phot́álo
Cetanár sampát mane ese lágalo
Tandrár mohaghor shúnye milálo

Dormant humanity has awakened, oh, it awakened;
In consequence, speech blossomed on mute lips.
The beacon of light came in touch with life;
The dark night of inertia passed, oh, it passed.

No looking back.
The eastern sky explodes into brilliant light
and births myriad flowers on the beaming earth.

Consciousness dawns in human minds
and the hypnotic spells of lethargy
of apathy, of souldestroying vacuity,
have vanished out of sight.
