Shobhan káche náhi pái
Kańt́ake veśt́ita haye ácho
Káṋt́á bhaye káche náhi jái

Mor sab bhay láj dáo go sariye
Tomáre káche pái paráńa bhariye
Práń khule kathá kai ásh mit́iye
Dúre thákite náhi cái

Tava paráger madhu sabáre cáhiyá
Se madhur lági ámi áchi je jágiyá
Tomár e gaorav tomár e saorabh
Varńite kona bháśá nái

স্বর্ণ শতদল সম তুমি গো
শোভন কাছে নাহি পাই
কণ্টকে বেষ্টিত হয়ে আছো
কাঁটা ভয়ে কাছে নাহি যাই

মোর সব ভয় লাজ দাও গো সরিয়ে
তোমারে কাছে পাই পরাণ ভরিয়ে
প্রাণ খুলে কথা কই আশ মিটিয়ে
দূরে থাকিতে নাহি চাই

তব পরাগের মধু সবারে চাহিয়া
সে মধুর লাগি আমি আছি যে জাগিয়া
তোমার এ গৌরব তোমার এ সৌরভ
বর্ণিতে কোন ভাষা নাই

O lord,
You are like a golden lotus with a hundred petals.
Nowhere close, do i find such beauty.

You remain surrounded by thorns,
and, due to fear of thorns,
I do not go near you.
Remove all my fear and shyness,
so that, wholeheartedly,
I may feel your near presence.

I want to talk to you with an open heart.
I wish my hopes to become fulfilled.
I do not want to remain far from you.

The honey of your pollen is for everyone,
and for that honey, i am keeping awake.
No language exists
that would describe this greatness and fragrance of yours.
