Jadi ná ele ghare
Bhávibo ná bhávi tabu kena bhávi
Ese balo ámáre

Áshár diipkháni jváliye rákhá chilo
Phuler máliká sájáno hayechilo
Mánasa kusume nibhrta vanabhúme
Madhu rákhá chilo bhare

Kii kari kii ná kari ekhani bale dáo
Samarpańer mantra shikháo
Ekánta mane basiyá dhyánásane
Dharite cái tomáre

তোমাকে ভেবে’ ভেবে’ বল কী ফল হবে
যদি না এলে ঘরে
ভাবিব না ভাবি তবু কেন ভাবি
এসে’ বলো আমারে

আশার দীপখানি জ্বালিয়ে রাখা ছিল
ফুলের মালিকা সাজানো হয়েছিল
মানস কুসুমে নিভৃত বনভূমে
মধু রাখা ছিল ভরে’

কী করি কী না করি এখনই বলে’ দিও
সমর্পণের মন্ত্র শিখাও
একান্ত মনে বসিয়া ধ্যানাসনে
ধরিতে চাই তোমারে

From often musing on You, say what fruit will be,
Though You did not come to my dwelling.
I think I will not think, but still why do I think?
Come and inform me.

Aglow, the lamp of hope had been sustained;
A garland of flowers had been arrayed.
In mind-blossoms at a garden solitary,
Nectar had been kept replete.

What I am to do or not to do, declare right away;
Surrender's formula kindly inculcate.
Sitting in meditation-pose with ardent psyche,
I would hold on to Thee.
