O lord, waiting for your arrival i am passing the days.
Watching Your arrival path, I've been passing days;
Please tell me why you have not come. the unbloomed
Why did You not come, please do explain.
petals of the buds have withered away. and the nectar
The unblown petals opened as they fell;
accumulated in those flowers could not remain any longer,
Escaped not the hidden nectar that they held.
but it is has all dried up. the sweetness preserved for you

for ages within stars and galaxies, within limits of beginning
That nectar was amassed over the course of ages,
and end, that could not be poured into your mind. there is no
One hundred nebulas on the outskirts of the stars.
meaning of your coming or not coming, hope or despair.
At the very tip of both first and last limits,
crying or laughing. but for me that separation and love is
Into Your mind was it not poured, that nectar.
most valuable. this fact you know but ignore.

Coming or not coming, hope or desperation,
For You, there's no glee or lamentation.
But for me, such love is disunited;
Though this fact be known, do You realize it?

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomár path ceye chilum din kát́iye
Tumi bale jáo kena ele ná
Ná phot́á pápŕi phut́e gelo jhari
Dhare rákhá madhu d́háká gelo ná

Je madhu jamá chilo jug jugánte
Shata niiháriká táraká pránte
Ádi o ante siimá pratyánte
Táháke tava mane d́hálá halo ná

Ásá náhi ásá áshá niráshá
Tomár káche kichu nay káṋdá hásá
Ámár káche se je viraha bhálabásá
E kathá bujheo ki bojho ná

Watching Your arrival path, I've been passing days;
Why did You not come, please do explain.
The unblown petals opened as they fell;
Escaped not the hidden nectar that they held.

That nectar was amassed over the course of ages,
One hundred nebulas on the outskirts of the stars.
At the very tip of both first and last limits,
Into Your mind was it not poured, that nectar.

Coming or not coming, hope or desperation,
For You, there's no glee or lamentation.
But for me, such love is disunited;
Though this fact be known, do You realize it?
