Ájo áche bhálabásá
Bhará táte áche áshá
(Mor) Maner reńu asiime hárá
Tomáre se dharite cáy

Tomár áloy ámi cali
Tomár balei kathá bali
Tomár bháve vibhor haye
Tomáte man mishite cáy

তোমার তরে বসে’ বসে’
দিনের পরে দিন চলে’ যায়
(তুমি) আসবে না কি আমার ঘরে
আঁখিনীরে দীপ নিবে’ যায়

আজও আছে ভালবাসা
ভরা তাতে আছে আশা
(মোর) মনের রেণু অসীমে হারা
তোমারে সে ধরিতে চায়

তোমার আলোয় আমি চলি
তোমার বলেই কথা বলি
তোমার ভাবে বিভোর হয়ে’
তোমাতে মন মিশিতে চায়

O lord,
seated and waiting for you,
day after days pass by.

My lamp is becoming extinguished
