Maner mukure tava chavi eṋke gán gái
Madhuratá mákhá áṋkhi mamatá amiya mákhi
Mor páne ceyechile kabhu táhá bhuli nái

Bár bár dhará májhe esechinu tava káje
Káj sere cale gechi kothá táhá mane nái

Ábár ásiyáchi tava veńu shuńiyáchi
Tava d́áke sáŕá diye tava giiti geye jái

তোমারে পাবার আশে তোমারে পেতে পাশে
মনের মুকুরে তব ছবি এঁকে গান গাই
মধুরতা-মাখা আঁখি মমতা-অমিয় মাখি
মোর পানে চেয়েছিলে কভু তাহা ভুলি নাই

বার বার ধরা মাঝে এসেছিনু তব কাজে
কাজ সেরে চলে গেছি কোথা তাহা মনে নাই

আবার আসিয়াছি তব বেণু শুণিয়াছি
তব ডাকে সাড়া দিয়ে তব গীতি গেয়ে যাই
