I have cherished You only
I've cherished You only
Again and again, age after age in many forms.
Again and again, age after age in many forms.
Have You forgotten that whole history,
Have You forgotten that whole history,

What was once a seed became a sprout;
What was once a seed became a sprout;
A mango tree broke into fruit and flower.
A mango tree teemed with fruit and flower.
The billowing sea of nectar climbed;
The billowing sea of nectar climbed;
Then there came high tide.
Then there came about high tide.

What was hidden in the depths of mind
What was hidden in psychic caverns,
is now scattered in woods and glades.
Got dispersed in woods and gardens.
In the smiling flower grove
In flourishing groves, the mental buds
the buds of my mind
Blossomed with exquisite looks.
have blossomed
into beauteous floral blooms.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomárei ámi bhálabásiyáchi
Juge juge katabár kata rúpe katabár
Bhúliyá gecho ki se sakal kathá
Se bháśá bhálabásár

Biijete já chilo ankur halo
Sahakár phúle phale bhare gelo
Amiya ságar uthali ut́hilo
Elo je bhará joyár

Jáhá d́háká chilo maneri gahane
Chaŕáye paŕilo vane upavane
Maner mukul smita kánane
Phul haye phot́e suśamár

I've cherished You only
Again and again, age after age in many forms.
Have You forgotten that whole history,
The declarations of love?

What was once a seed became a sprout;
A mango tree teemed with fruit and flower.
The billowing sea of nectar climbed;
Then there came about high tide.

What was hidden in psychic caverns,
Got dispersed in woods and gardens.
In flourishing groves, the mental buds
Blossomed with exquisite looks.
