O lord, we were introduced to each other
Between You and me there had been a meeting,
on the beach of golden sand
On a golden-sanded shore.
where the series of waves were engaged
With rows of waves engaged in dancing,
in dancing resonantly over the ocean.
The great ocean roared.
i was sitting on the sandy shore unmindfully,

passing time counting the stars.
Seated lackadaisically on a sandy beach,
i could never imagine that I would find you any time.
I had been idling, counting stars constantly.
you came silently and suddenly,
In my mind, at no time could I believe
and won over my mind and heart.
That ever Yourself I'll receive.
coming close, You whispered into my ears,

“ i am with you all the time”.
Stealthily, suddenly You mattered to me;
You subdued my heart and psyche.
Coming near You whispered into my ear:
"All the time, with you I am here."

Tomay amay dekha hayechilo is the 2145th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáy ámáy dekhá hayechilo
Svarnabáluká upakúle
Úrmimáláy nartanarata
Mahodadhir mandrile

Bálukábeláy base ánamane
Kál kát́átum tárá gune gune
Bhávite kakhano pári niko mane
Tomáke pábo kon kále

Cupicupi hat́hat ese gele
Mor práń man jay kare nile
Káche ese mor kánete kahile
Ámi áchi sáthe sab kále

Between You and me there had been a meeting,
On a golden-sanded shore.
With rows of waves engaged in dancing,
The great ocean roared.

Seated lackadaisically on a sandy beach,
I had been idling, counting stars constantly.
In my mind, at no time could I believe
That ever Yourself I'll receive.

Stealthily, suddenly You mattered to me;
You subdued my heart and psyche.
Coming near You whispered into my ear:
"All the time, with you I am here."
