Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ámáre bhálobese
Ámáre diyecho mán
Tumi bháviyá dekhoni nishcay
Ámi kańiká samán

Tava kusumakánane ámi
Karńikámájhe reńu
Tumi brhater ceye brhat
Ámi ańu májhe paramáńu
Ámi guńabandhane báṋdhá
Tumi guńátiita sumahán

Ámi khadyoteri diipti
Tumi mahákáshe mahásúrja
Ámi núpurer mrdu nikkan
Nádatanu tumi túrja
Tava rúpáloke bhási ámi
Tumi rúpátiita gariyán

O Lord,
You honoured me,
by loving me.
You certainly did not consider well,
me being merely a tiny particle.

In your floral garden,
I am a particle in the stem.

You are great amongst the greatest,
I am an atom amongst particles.

I remain bound by charecteristics,
You are great beyond all attributes.

I resemble the glow of fire flies,
You... the great sun in the sky.

I am a faint jingling sound of anklebells,
You embody of the great sound of trumpets.
I float in a world of forms,
You are the great one beyond all form.
