Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ámári ámári shudhu
Diganta ghire mahá ambare
Hese calecho eki vidhu

Maner końe końe bháveri gahane
Kusume surabhita sushobhita vane
Tomáre bheve cali tomári kathá bali
Niiras jiivane tumi madhu

Hatáshá megh áse iishán końe bháse
Dúre sare tava malay vátáse
Tumi cháŕá ár náhi ápanár
Háráno hrdaye tumi baṋdhu

O lord, you are only mine.
in the great sky surrounding the horizon,
you go on moving smilingly
as a singular moon.
in each corner of the mind,
in the depth of thought,
in the decorated garden
fragrant with flowers,
i go on thinking and speaking
only of you.
you are the honey in my dry life.
the clouds of pessimism
come and float in the northeastern corner,
but move away with your sandal breeze.
other than you, there is no one as mine.
You are the ever companion of a lost heart.
