Dear lord,
Beloved, You had looked at me,
You have been looking at me
But I did not consider Thee.
but i did not look at you.
Myself You had cherished;
I placed You not on necklace of my memory.

You loved me
So much unearned mercy I've received;
but i did not maintain this memory.
Mind's been suffused with grace and beauty.
Through the blooms and fruits on gentle breeze,
You have caressed me.

How much causeless grace from you i got,
What I've craved, still more than that You've given;
filling my mind with beauty and flow!
All of my impurities, away from me You've taken.

With wish for total welfare, also the right directions,
You gave me touch of flowers, fruits, and sandal breeze.
You have lavished essence of ambrosia.
Whatever i wanted, you gave even more than that.
You removed all my dirt and sins.

For the sake of all-round welfare,
and a redirection of reality,
You poured out
a flow of nectar.

Tumi amay ceyechile priya is the 1595th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ámáy ceyechile priya
Ámi to cái ni tomáre
Tumi ámáy bhálo besechile
Ámi rákhi niko smrtiháre

Ahetukii krpá kata ná peyechi
Rúpe rase man bhariyá tulechi
Kusume phale malayánile
Parash diyecho ámáre

Já ceyechi tár beshii-i diyecho
Jáhá kalmaś saráye niyecho
Hita eśańáy rta deshańáy
Bharáye diyecho sudhásáre

Beloved, You had looked at me,
But I did not consider Thee.
Myself You had cherished;
I placed You not on necklace of my memory.

So much unearned mercy I've received;
Mind's been suffused with grace and beauty.
Through the blooms and fruits on gentle breeze,
You have caressed me.

What I've craved, still more than that You've given;
All of my impurities, away from me You've taken.
With wish for total welfare, also the right directions,
You have lavished essence of ambrosia.
