Dekhe base nio

Áveshe bhará áṋkhi tomári tare
Ceye áche kata jug juga dhare
Sakal áshá tár púrńa kare
Hese tákio

Tomár káche chot́a-baŕa nei
Cáoyá-páoyár kona vedaná nei
Púrńa tumi hárávár bhay nei
Madhu mákhio

(তুমি) আঁধার ঘরে মোর ওগো প্রিয়
আলো জ্বেলে’ দিও
আসন পাতা আছে অন্ধকারে
দেখে’ বেসে’ নিও

আবেশে ভরা আঁখি তোমারই তরে
চেয়ে আছে কত যুগ যুগ ধরে’
সকল আশা তার পূর্ণ করে’
হেসে’ তাকিও

তোমার কাছে ছোট-বড় নেই
চাওয়া-পাওয়ার কোন বেদনা নেই
পূর্ণ তুমি হারাবার ভয় নেই
মধু মাখিও

O dear,
You kindle light in my dark home.
The seat is spread in darkness, see and sit.
My eyes are eagerly waiting for you since ages.
Fulfilling their entire hope, look smilingly.

There is no big or small near you.
There is no agony of desire or attainment.
You are whole and perfect.
There is no fear of getting lost.
Engross me in sweetness.
