O lord, you came untimely,
Having delayed, You came belated;
late, the day is passing.
Day, it goes away, it goes away.
the dull garland of ma’lati flowers
The shriveled hiptage wreath, it grows faint;
is getting withered.
Where hides the weary oleander pained?
drying oleander flower is hidden

due to pain.
With coming and going is this worldly life,
this world comprises of coming and going,
From missing is crying, and from gaining, delight.
crying in loss and joy on achievement.
Rhythmic is the road by which we go and arrive;
the resonant path sings the song
With melody and music mode, it serenades.
of the passers coming and going,

with rhythm and melody.
In sorrow's darkness, with light grins happiness;
within the darkness of sorrow
On mirror of mind, with blossom of love it rises.
the glow of joy smiles.
Amid kush and kash, with autumn's night-jasmine,
in the mirror of the mind,
It flashes in both shape and taste.
the flower of love appears.
through the winter shefa’lii flowers
and flowers of the tall grass,
it shows beauty and taste.

Tumi ele abelay deri kare is the 2717th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ele abeláy deri kare
Din cale je jáy din cale je jáy
Mlán madhumálatiir málá múracháy
Klánta karabii kleshe kotháy lukáy

Ásá jáoyá niye áche ei saḿsár
Háránor káṋdá ár trpti páoyár
Chandáyita path ánágonár
Sure ráge gán gáy

Duhkher áṋdháre sukh áloy háse
Maner mukure priiti kusume bháse
Sharat shepháliite kushe káshe
Rúpe rase jhalakáy

Having delayed, You came belated;
Day, it goes away, it goes away.
The shriveled hiptage wreath, it grows faint;
Where hides the weary oleander pained?

With coming and going is this worldly life,
From missing is crying, and from gaining, delight.
Rhythmic is the road by which we go and arrive;
With melody and music mode, it serenades.

In sorrow's darkness, with light grins happiness;
On mirror of mind, with blossom of love it rises.
Amid kush and kash, with autumn's night-jasmine,
It flashes in both shape and taste.
