Ásuk bá ná ásuk tumi
D́áko je sabáre

Keu bale tumi dayámay
Keu bale eta nit́hur ná hay
Kśańe madhumay kśańeke pralay
Race bhásáo drk niire

তুমি এলে ধূলির সংসারে
দীপশিখা সাথে করে'
অন্ধকার ঘরে

কেউ চিনেছে কেউ চেনেনি
কেউ জেনেছে কেউ জানেনি
ভালবেসে' কেউ কাছে এসেছে
কেউ বা আসেনি
আসুক বা না আসুক তুমি
ডাক যে সবারে

কেউ বলে তুমি দয়াময়
কেউ বলে এত নিঠুর না হয়
ক্ষণে মধুময় ক্ষণেকে প্রলয়
রচে' ভাসাও দৃক্‌-নীরে

O lord, you came down to this muddy world
carrying the flame of torch
into the dark house.
Some people recognized and some did not.
some knew and some did not.
Some come close with love, some do not.
but whether people come or not,
you call all.
some say that you are merciful;
some say that you should not be so harsh.
sweet in a moment, You create annihilation
in another make tears to flow.
