Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi ele tumi ele tumi ele
Karuńá kare
Bandha chilo dor takhan je mor
Argal khule dile ápana kare

Je latát́i chilo mor shukátechilo
Pratit́i kuṋŕi tár jharitechilo
Phul phot́áye ásh mit́áye
Tomáre pelum ámi paráńa bhare

Jeo ná cale tumi tháko káche
Kata je kathá balivár rayeche
Kata je áche gán kata je abhimán
Ujáŕ kariyá shonáte tomáre

O lord, you came bestowing mercy.
my door was closed at that time,
you opened the doorbolt
with your own hands.
my creeper that was drying up,
the bud of love from which were withering,
into that you bloomed flowers
and fulfilled the hopes.
i attained you wholeheartedly.
you do not go, stay close,
many more things i have to say,
many songs to sing, many hurt agony,
all that i have to speak to you.
